You may be curious as to why one tattooed couple, with 3 dogs and day jobs have decided to embark on this journey of miniature home-ownership.

The answer boils down easily, but the details and reasons go on for days.

"We want to not accumulate debt (ie purchase a full-sized home and be making payments on it for literally DECADES), and we want to work minimally and live maximally. A good way to accomplish that is to not have to pay a lot of living expenses (ie live small and green) and to not be a slave to our belongings (so don't own much!)."

I mean, think about it:
it would be small enough to be powered by solar, probably rack up a whole total of $100 worth of utilities a year, can be completely custom designed, and we can afford to own it NOW. Some additional highlights include being portable (build it here, move it here, there, everywhere!) and not a rental.

We're pumped.
